The 3rd Annual Judo Awards and Grading Ceremony 2025 at Somaiya Sports Academy was a grand celebration of the achievements of our Judo athletes. 

The event highlighted the dedication, strength, and skill required to excel in the sport, with special recognition given to our coaches, Mr Sushilkumar Gupta and Ms Ajita Sahane, for their unwavering support in developing future champions.

Gracing the event were distinguished personalities, including Dr Satish Pahade, Former Coach of the India Judo Team, Ms Apoorva Patil, Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee and proud Somaiya alumnus, Dr Urmi Thakkar, Dean of Student Welfare, Mr Aazaz Khan, Director, Somaiya Sports Academy and Mr Jayant Tambe, Registrar of K. J. Somaiya Polytechnic.

The ceremony not only celebrated the athletes’ hard work but also acknowledged the significant contributions made by coaches, faculty, and the entire Judo community at Somaiya.
